Build Your Own Burrito

Each spring Willard hosts the annual Build Your Own Burrito in late February or early March. The night is complete with an all you can eat burrito bar and silent auction with all of the proceeds benefiting Fresh Start of Lincoln, which is a local non-profit supporting women. Build Your Own Burrito is a great opportunity to uplift other women in our community and allows Willard to continue to make positive changes in Lincoln.

S’more Local Love

Our newest philanthropy, S’more Local Love, took root in April 2017. This philanthropy is unique because each year Willard girls receive the opportunity to submit a cause they are passionate about and then each Willard gets to vote on which nonprofit to support that year. The evening consists of roasting s’mores over a fire, relaxing on the lawn, and playing yard games such as cornhole and jenga. S’more Local Love supported Sammy’s Superheroes in 2017 and Clinic with A Heart in 2018. We are so excited that this philanthropy has been so successful!

Rock-A-Thon

During the fall semester, the women of Willard and men of Zeta Psi come together to host a fun night of food, pictures, and rocking to support Make-A-Wish Nebraska. Rock-A-Thon is an event where the Willards and Zeta Psis take turns rocking in rocking chairs for 24 hours straight. This event joins the Greek community together and makes for unforgettable night when your shift is rocking from 2-3am. Being able to support Make-A-Wish Nebraska and see the differences they are making in the lives of children is the reason why Rock-A-Thon continues to be a success.

Relay for Life

When: Friday April 13, 2018 from 6:00pm-12:00am.
This year we are going to attempt to have the event outside on Taylor Commons, however, if the weather is unpleasant it will be in the field house.
